Upon submitting your audition form, you can select a time slot for auditions

 

Video Submissions are accepted no later than 24 hours before the listed audition date

What To Prepare:
Please arrive to auditions 15 minutes prior to your audition time slot.

Be prepared with 32 bars of any musical theatre song that best fits and showcases your range.


We ask that you do not audition acapella.

A Bluetooth speaker is provided for accompanying tracks.

Please do not sing a song from the show.

 

Dress comfortably for the dance portion of auditions.

For example:

No flip-flops or other shoes that will impede your ability to dance safely.

No overly restrictive or revealing clothing.

Vocal auditions are private infant of only the production team.

Dance auditions will be completed in small groups based on registered time slots.

Based on the hit 1992 film, Sister Act is a joyful musical comedy filled with laughter, heart, and powerhouse vocals. When aspiring nightclub singer Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a crime, she is placed in protective custody in the last place anyone would think to look for her: a convent. As Deloris struggles to adapt to her new surroundings, she unexpectedly transforms the convent choir into a musical sensation, inspiring the sisters and revitalizing the community. Featuring original music by Alan Menken, this uplifting musical celebrates friendship, self-discovery, and the power of finding your voice.

​​Deloris Van Cartier (Female Presenting) | Vocal Range: E3–F#5
An aspiring nightclub performer with big dreams and a bold personality. Funny, confident, and outspoken, Deloris finds unexpected purpose and connection when she helps transform the convent choir.

 

Mother Superior (Female Presenting) | Vocal Range: D3–E5
The disciplined and protective head of the convent. Sarcastic, guarded, and resistant to Deloris at first, she is deeply devoted to her sisters and the life they have built.

 

Sister Mary Robert (Female Presenting) | Vocal Range: F#3–A5
A shy young postulant who has grown up in the convent. Soft-spoken and reserved, she begins to discover her confidence and her voice through Deloris’s influence.

A cheerful, energetic, and enthusiastic nun who brings warmth and excitement to the convent. She is quick to embrace Deloris and the joy she brings to the choir.

The convent’s choir director. Dry, deadpan, and initially skeptical of Deloris, she eventually gets swept up in the new sound and spirit of the choir.

 

Monsignor O’Hara (Male Presenting) | Vocal Range: E3–G4
A priest concerned with the convent’s financial future. Well-meaning and practical, he is pleasantly surprised when the choir’s new energy begins attracting attention.

A dangerous club owner, gangster, and Deloris’s boyfriend. Cocky, controlling, and intimidating, Curtis is the threat Deloris must escape.

An eccentric nun who often seems to be in her own world. Though quirky and unpredictable, she has moments of surprising clarity.

The oldest nun in the convent. She may appear frail, but she has unexpected strength, spirit, and comedic presence.

One of Deloris’s backup singers. Stylish, sharp, and quick with a comeback, Michelle brings confidence and attitude to Deloris’s nightclub world.

One of Deloris’s backup singers. Fun, flashy, and a little naive, Tina helps establish the high-energy world Deloris comes from.

One of Curtis’s thugs who initially appears to be a simple yes-man but is later revealed to be an undercover police informant.
