SYNOPSIS

Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film. When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she’s placed in protective custody in the one place the police are sure she won’t be found: a convent. Disguised as a nun, Deloris unexpectedly transforms the struggling choir into a sensational act that inspires the community and attracts widespread attention. Filled with powerful vocals, outrageous comedy, and original music by legendary composer Alan Menken, Sister Act is a joyful celebration of friendship, self-discovery, and the power of music.

Music by Alan Menken
Lyrics by Glenn Slater
Book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner
