Each year, for nearly ten years, the Barn Theatre has hosted an internship program for local high school students who are interested in learning a variety of valuable, technical theatre skills. Under the guidance of Artistic Director, Bryan W. Childe, these students hone their craft(s) in such areas as: lighting, lighting design, sound, sound programming, set construction, wardrobe, and hair & makeup. 

 

Throughout the year, students are able to earn volunteer hours and at the end of each season, the Barn Theatre awards three seniors scholarships to encourage them to continue pursuing educational opportunities.
