General:

• All auditions are open to the public - No prior experience is needed.

• We work with non-equity actors.

• We are a volunteer service theatre; no actors are paid.

• You must submit an audition form prior to audition date.

• Audition forms can be found on each show's audition page.

• If you're interested in working as a technical crew member of any shows, please reach-out to our Artistic Director, Bryan W. Childe, via email: brynbarntheatre@yahoo.com

Physical Auditions:

• Please familiarize yourself with the show prior to the audition.

• If the audition is for a musical, please come prepared with 32 bars of music.

• Vocal auditions are private and performed only for the production team.

• A dance audition is typically required for all musicals. Dress comfortably.

• Dance auditions are performed in small groups.

​

• If the audition for a play, cold reading sides will be provided for you.

• Visit that show's audition page for more information.

 

Video Submissions:

• If you are unable to make it to the posted audition dates, video submissions are accepted and considered.

• You may submit your video audition to the Artistic Director (bryanbarntheatre@yahoo.com) no later than 24 hours before the posted audition date.

• Be sure to include your Name, Age, Title of the Show you are auditioning for, the Roles you are willing to accept, and all contact information.

• When submitting a video audition, you must still submit an audition form.
