THE BARN THEATRE: A NEW VISION

2TK Architecture & Design

Since its opening in 1971, over 450,000 patrons, performers and volunteers have visited the Barn. And what a ride it has been!.  To improve your theater experience, the Barn has made some significant improvements, including a new sound board and surround sound system, and new state of the art stage lighting. But we are not done.

The Barn has embarked upon a NEW VISION.  We are in the process of building a new, fully enclosed, 1500 square foot air-conditioned lobby for your safety and convenience.  The new lobby will contain additional handicapped accessible restrooms, a snack bar, ticket windows, comfortable seating and décor, and other wonderful amenities. We anticipate the lobby will be completed by the Fall of 2026 and will cost $525,000. So, no more standing outside in the rain, cold or heat, or dodging cars leaving our parking lot, or hoping to be first in line for the bathroom.

The Barn Theatre will officially kick off its fundraiser for its Vision 2030 Program with a tribute concert to the legendary Neil Diamond starring Neil Zirconia, the Ultimate Faux Diamond, and the Number One Neil Diamond tribute show in Florida.

Neil has an enormous following and is known for his onstage presence and charisma that only the SOLITARY MAN himself can inspire. From Love On The Rocks and I Am I Said to the rousing Sweet Caroline and Coming to America, you'll be singing and dancing along to your favorites. This is a show that will certainly get you in the holiday spirit and fill your heart and leave you smiling.

Jeanette Mazzella, Administrative Vice President of the Barn Theatre added “And what a wonderful Christmas present it would make to gift a set of tickets to a family member or friend. As for the project, The Barn's Vision 2030 Program encompasses significant capital improvements. First on deck is the construction of a fully enclosed 1,500 square foot air- conditioned lobby that will include additional handicap accessible restrooms, walk-up ticket windows, a snack bar, comfortable seating, audio and visual displays, and other amenities, all intended to improve the comfort and theater experience of Barn patrons. The new lobby is expected to cost approximately $500,000. The Barn expects the lobby will be completed by the Fall of 2026. The Barn hopes to raise funds to help pay for the lobby through donations and grants. Concert ticket revenues will also be earmarked for the lobby project. The Barn's Administrative Vice President, Jeanette Mazzella, further remarked, “We've spent thousands upgrading our theater's sound and lighting systems. Now it's time to provide our patrons the complete package, a theater experience they can really enjoy and appreciate, a modern lobby just for them.”
