The following note was from a 2009 Camp Barn Theatre Student:
Dear Ms. West and Ms Weidenfeller,
I loved the overwhelming experience at the Barn Theatre this summer. And making good friends with good actors and actresses, who love theatre just as much as I do. I am looking forward to coming to auditions and learning from the BEST ACTORS and ACTRESSES in Florida. Such as Zander Tsnoda, who always does such a great job. I think he is the best. I also believe he will be famous and on Broadway someday and even have his name on a gold star in the “Walk of Fame”.
Sorry, I could not attend to some of the auditions I have missed so far. My family and I have been getting our brains ready and wrapped around the coming school year. But, in the near dear future I hope to see you- Mrs. West/Ms. Tara/Crew/and maybe even Mr. Homza. There is still a lot for me to learn especially from you guys “The Best”.
Sincerely,
Aaron Sanders

A quote from an audience member after seeing The Boys Next Door, April, 2009:
"I want to tell you about a wonderful experience that I had last night! I met some of the most loving people that you could ever meet. I attended a play at the Barn Theatre- The Boys Next Door. I promise you will be moved by this play, don't miss this opportunity!"

Read what a former Camp Barn Theatre student writes:
June 19, 2007
Board of Directors
It is so great to see the Barn Theatre Summer Camp in action again! I can not begin to tell you just how much fun it was when I attended (the year we did "The Beeple". Theatre was a turning point for my childhood. I was not into sports, band, or much else for that matter. Along came drama classes and I had something to do, all the way into a full college scholarship. Keeping kids creative during the summer months is so important to the community. Not only was theatre fun but it gave me the skills to sell myself in the professional world. The things learned in theatre camp last way past the summer, they last a lifetime.

Read what a parent had to say about Camp Barn Theatre 2007:
A parent of two male campers writes........"The experience was more incredible than my writing ability can describe - Linda, I wish I knew how to convince you to do something during the year. Sean has been chosen to be a part of the Male Honor Chorus for the State of Florida, which is quite an honor - he is thrilled. His chorus teacher is amazed at the change in him over the summer and I told her a lot if it had to do with the influence of Camp Barn Theatre".
